About Us

Seatide Gourmet Fish Market, the seafood jewel of Brooklyn, was born in 2005.

The history goes back to 1988 when Paul Oliveri started his first store in Jackson Heights, Queens with his brother-in-law Gus.

Paul's passion and devotion for his work became unsurpassable. A brief lunch date with his wife Nicole on Avenue N, led to an empty store two doors down, and her brainstorm of a fish business that the neighborhood was in need of.

Brining on board his brother Tony and brother-in-law Gus, Paul decided to transform a traditional retail fish market and expand it into an all around gourmet shopping experience. Seatide Gourmet Fish Market provides it's customers with prepared, cooked and take-out services via Uber Eats, Grub Hub, Door Dash and Mercado.

Seatide Gourmet has become an asset to the neighborhood, serving Mill Basin, Bergen Beach, Canarsie and many that travel from afar.

FUN FACT:

Seatide Gourmet Fish Market went from fish to being famous for our "Beef Stew" which became a favorite of Condoleezza Rice (former Secretary of State). This signature dish was enjoyed on Air Force One.
